About

Eunice Keitan Founder of Looper Queens

Looper Queens exists because I've spent many nights crying myself to sleep trying to decipher my new looper pedal's manual. While I knew countless male loop artists, mostly rock guitarists, I couldn't name a single woman in my community who could loop or offer advice. As an artist who is far from a "gear head," I found most explanations overwhelmingly technical at that time. All I truly wanted was another girl to hold my hand, do some somatic breathing, and navigate these challenges alongside me. When I realized that community didn't exist, I knew I had to build it.

It's been years since I started my journey with the looper, and it has enabled me to be self-sufficient, to tour the world, and to make music my full-time job. However, making these classes accessible, both in content and financially, was paramount. My own life's trajectory was reshaped by a music teacher who gave me a year of free classes when my family couldn't even afford general education. This profound experience fuels my commitment to pay it forward, particularly to women, femmes, and those from marginalized communities. I truly hope we can grow Looper Queens together.
